Reception of Goods

Do you have furniture that is still usable but has become unnecessary for you? Helsinki Metropolitan Area Reuse Centre Ltd receives intact, clean and usable goods during the opening hours of its shops. These goods include:

• home furniture (no beds in Lönnrotinkatu)
• office furniture (large quantities in Espoo)
• small items packed in bags or boxes (books, ceramic ware, clothes, shoes)
• hobby utensils (packed)

The following items aren't mainly accepted:

• chipboard furniture in pieces
• construction parts and materials, bathtubs, toilet seats, kitchen closets and wardrobes (received only at Vantaa)
• water and heteka beds
• broken or dirty goods (except goods from the 60s and earlier)

The Helsinki Metropolitan Area Reuse Centre also collects large items from your home, free of charge. We pick up usable furniture and large quantities of small household items. In addition, we deliver items bought from our stores directly to your home for a small delivery fee.

Our pickup and delivery services are inexpensive and easy to use. Our employees collect your used items from your home or deliver purchased items directly to you. We follow a clear distribution of work and responsibility in all transportations: the customer is responsible for his/her apartment and makes sure it is possible to carry the furniture while our personnel takes care of examining the items and transporting them.  See more details about

Our home reception service picks up usable furniture and large quantities of smaller items from the Helsinki region (Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa) for free!
